Winter Eye Makeup; Icy and Frost, White and Silver, or Snowy

Angel Vee
When I think of winter for makeup I think blue skies, silvery frost, white snow, and icy. Use these ideas to create your face makeup for everyday use or a special occasion. To create your theme, you need certain products. One thing for sure is a primer for the face, choice of liner, and black mascara.

Icy And Frost

This can be white and silver, silver and blue, blue and white, or white, gray and silver, or silver and blue together. Decide on the color combo. Once you have an idea, decide whether or not you want a shimmer, frost, pearlescent, or glittery look. Why some choices? Because they are all different when it comes to makeup. Glittery is the most dramatic one.

Creating The Look

Make sure skin is free of all oils or any makeup residue. Apply a face primer or eye primer to your eyelids. If you do not own one, opt for a liquid foundation.

Then on first section of lid apply white liner crayon and spread evenly onto lid using finger. Now take a white shadow and place over the entire eyelid. Reason for the crayon liner first is to make the shadow stick better to the skin and become brighter.

Grab a shadow brush or Q-tip and apply the light frosty baby blue (or whatever light blue you chose) Place this into the crease of lids and coming out of the corners of each eye.

Now use the white liner again and place inside the eye. Place blue liner or black on top of eye. Then place blue shadow underneath the lid on bottom. When you apply the blue or black liner make sure to start out think half way, and then start getting thicker creating a winged triangle cat eye almost. Decorate with small gems. Place 3-5 tiny rhinestones from the halfway mark to the point of the cat eye. Use either white or blue.

White And Silver And Gray Snow Eyes

First apply the primer to the entire lid. Then apply a very light sparkly gray just to the bottom and middle lid starting at the bottom. Do not apply to the corner. Next place a dark gray into crease and coming out of corner of eye.

Apply the white shadow to the entire top under brow. Take a shadow brush or Q-tip and blend everything in to make sure you have no harsh lines.

Dab some iridescent glitter over bottom and middle lid. Then apply white or silver glitter over the entire eyelid lightly. Slightly blend in.

Add your black or white liner, mascara, and fake lashes if desired. Add some silver under bottom lid.Finish the look up with a soft glossy pink lip.

I haven't gotten a single publication notice in two days now. So I am catching up the old-fashioned way. This was a good holiday one. Love it.
