Winter Misery

The cold winds began to howl.
I felt like a block of ice.
The snow then came in torrents.
I was going to pay the price.

Twenty inches were on the forecast.
My day would be filled with dread.
For it's not fun to shovel snow
When it almost touches your head.

    I can deal with cold (at least, as cold as it gets in NYC) but snow is a PITA.
