Last week Owasso, Oklahoma received 21 inches while areas in Kay County, Oklahoma received 8-10 inches.
That storm collapsed roofs and carports in and around the Tulsa, Oklahoma area including a roof at the Hard Rock Casino.
Before the sun could melt the remnants of that storm away, another one hit Tuesday with snow totals in Kay County, Oklahoma ranging from 14-18 inches while Jay, Oklahoma, located in the northeastern part of the state, received over 20 inches of snow and some areas along the Oklahoma- Arkansas border reported 30 inches or better.
To add insult to injury, temperatures dropped way below 0 last night with Ponca City, Oklahoma recording a new record of -25 below while Tulsa dipped to -28.
Today main roads across the northern parts of Oklahoma are open and many rural roads in Kay County have been plowed.
Some businesses have reopened but most schools are closed.
Some county roads only have one lane open with large piles of snow lining the way.
Travelers that are needing to drive through the plain states may want to call ahead for road conditions.

Like Leroy said,
Sure hope the weather is a little better now.
hope spring has sprung, no rain causing melting snow flooding, as happening other places around the U.S.A.
Tough winter in many places.
The whole country has felt winter's fury this year!
It has been crazy here!
The temps are crazy here. Even though we need the cold weather to keep diseases low, it's far colder here than I have seen in quite a while/some thirty plus years almost.
