Look Smart While Dressing Feminine and Flirty

Skirt Suits
Skirt suits are a fabulous and classic way to dress up boring office garb. If you have a little quirk, you can mix and match skirt suits to make unique outfits. A good tip is to keep your suits greyscale, that means black, white, and grey, and accent the piece with scarves or accessories in your favorite color scheme. The greyscale clothes create a blank palette upon which you can build a variety of accessory schemes.

Tips About Patterns
If you are wearing patterns, keep the accessories, especially colorful accessories, to a minimum. Patterns already have a tendency to look busy on their own, and if you dress them up with more accessories, you risk overloading your outfit and looking silly in front of your peers. If you are not sure whether you are wearing too many accessories, you probably are. If it doesn't add to your look, take it off. No matter how much it cost.

True Fashion
Add an urban flair to your look for a quirky offshoot. Classic looks can be dressed up with big fat hoop earrings or a bold cluster of bright bangles on your wrist. If you feel like getting creative, do, but don't take any ideas that don't really sound like you. There is no reason you should be uncomfortable for fashion. Fashion is about making you look and feel your best.

Spectacles
Take a dash down to your optometrist for an eye test to see if you can truthfully don a lovely accessory to the office ensemble: glasses. The right pair of glasses can make you look intelligent. If you have bags under your eyes or other blemishes around the eyes you wish to hide, a pair of glasses with a thick sexy frame can be the perfect mask for your marks. Be careful that the glasses do not accent your marks instead of hide them. Talk to the optometrist or, failing that, your best girl friends, to find out which frames look best on you.

If your perfect vision takes you out of the running to be a true spectacled babe, you can pick up convincing knockoffs at your nearest novelty shop or accessory shop, such as Hot Topic or Claire's in the mall.

Denim in the Office
Dark jeans are best in the office because they are slimming. The profile of dark denim hides lumps and bumps and can help smooth of your figure. Dark denim goes great with a frilly flowy blouse in bright colors, but can also be a fabulous Winter 2010 trend with a well-tailored sportcoat. A sportcoat with dark jeans and dark dressy leather tennis shoes are hot in the north Los Angeles professional fashion scene.
