Constructed in 1922, the yacht club is one of the oldest private clubs in America. The view of the Detroit River makes this an ideal spot for a winter wedding, and the club is available for weddings and receptions. There is plenty of parking as well.
The ultimate in Detroit wedding venues, this grand old building on West Lafayette Street downtown features the historic Crystal Ballroom, where many festive gatherings have been held since 1917. Marble floors, ornate cathedral ceilings, and large windows make this venue a perfectly elegant site for winter weddings. A second ballroom, the Terrace, is a little less extravagant but can still accommodate 200 guests in style with beautiful décor and a dance floor.
