It is in these moments that I feel the
Need to shake things up a bit, yet
Viscidity in human relationships seems
Impossible, as people turn their backs and move
So quickly from one to the next.
It is in these moments, too, that I
Begin my retreat into winter's darkness.
Impossible to stop the journey.
Light and lightness of heart quickly disappear
Into the shadows...
Taking with it my need to feel
Your presence.
Need to shake things up a bit, yet
Viscidity in human relationships seems
Impossible, as people turn their backs and move
So quickly from one to the next.
It is in these moments, too, that I
Begin my retreat into winter's darkness.
Impossible to stop the journey.
Light and lightness of heart quickly disappear
Into the shadows...
Taking with it my need to feel
Your presence.
