I attended the Wisconsin Technical College a.k.a. WCTC located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.

The campus is only minutes from the city of Pewaukee. Pewaukee is beautiful and breathtaking. Pewaukee Lake is only a few miles from the campus. Apartments for students are available practically across the highway from the campus.

The school is mainly known for its nursing program. A student may get his or her degree in two years for a Registered Nurse. (Four years of classes condensed into two years.)

A variety of medical courses are offered such as the nursing program for Registered Nurse, as mentioned, or Licensed Practical Nurse, medical assistant, or medical transcription degrees. There are nineteen health field occupations you may receive your degree for. Link given to see WCTC's informational website.

The health field is the number one growing field to find yourself a secure job! Apply early as the health field fills up fast with students. You may be put on a waiting list.

A person may continue their education at WCTC, if needed.

Early childhood education is offered as is instructional assistant.

Creative? Maybe you'd like a career in Interior Design.

Business and Information Technology degrees are popular to become a highly skilled specialist.

This Wisconsin technical college offers Electronics and Engineering degrees.

Want a job in a hotel, casino, cruise ship, restaurant, etc.? Study for your Hospitality & Culinary Center Degree.

Criminal Justice, Fire Fighting and Emergency Medical Services degrees are offered to interested future students.

If you like building or fixing things, the Skilled Trades Center of Excellence will be the correct choice of degree for you.

Barber/Cosmetology degrees are offered two different ways. You may train for a full-time technical diploma or attend an apprenticeship program. Details on WCTC's website to let you know which one is right for you.

Do you like to help people? Try your hand at human services. "You can assist others who are having difficulties due to addiction, developemental disability, or mental health issues." Source: WCTC website.

Online courses are available.

Another service offered is a person may attend WCTC to complete their high school diploma.

WCTC has a Workforce Development Center employment board for job's posted. I found my medical transcription job that way even before I had graduated!

Financial Aid, Scholarships and loans are another added benefit this Wisconsin Technical College offers.

Gateway Technical Colleges are located in Kenosha, Racine, Burlington and Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Gateway does not have on-site housing but many students find housing within a short distance to the campus.

Gateway trains for jobs that will be needed in Southeastern Wisconsin so large companies will know we have the workforce to handle the job(s) offered.

Gateway is going green. They are listing ways students can conserve energy, clean more safely, recycle more products, and thinking of ways to go green to improve the campuses environment. Gateway even has a building dedicated to going green! Source: Gateway website.

The 3520-30th Avenue, Kenosha campus offers twenty seven degree options as well as numerous Advanced Technical Diplomas and Gateway Certificates. Source: Gateway website.

Kenosha is a nice city with a lot of shopping!

The Racine campus is located right on Main Street. The Racine Technical Building offers Cosmetology, Machine Tool Technician, Health Information Technology, Nursing, Engineering, Auto Shop, and Open Lab.

At the Racine Gateway a haircut is offered for free after 5:00 p.m. by students as well as other amenities for a low fee!

A total 13 associate degree programs are offered in Elkhorn. Elkhorn is a quaint town with a lot of friendly people. Elkhorn's Gateway Technical College is easily accessible from major highways-I-43 and Hwy 12.

Many scholarships are available and you can apply right online for them.

At these Wisconsin Technical Colleges online courses are available. Live help is available from 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

This Wisconsin Technical College offers the largest variety of degrees to work for. Business, Liberal Arts & Science, Graphic Arts, Television and Video Production, Culinary and Hospitality, Technical, Industrial, Pre-College Education and Health Occupations.

There may be a waiting list for some courses.

At each campus one on one tutoring is available as is online tutoring. A Homework Helpline is offered. Group Studies and Supplemental Instruction

Plenty of parking at all four MATC campuses. Bus schedules are available for these Wisconsin Technical Schools.

I found no on-site housing available at any of the MATC campuses.
