Wisdom from God's Spirit

Amanda Kidd
The Word says "make your calling and election sure." God is relaying He calls us; we're not called or anointed because we possess degrees in seminary school. In fact, a PhD. in theology is worldly wisdom, and God says "He will destroy the wisdom of the wise and the intelligent He frustrates." God asked where are the philosopher, wise man, and scholar of this age? God is saying to His children do not put your faith and trust into worldly wisdom. When God calls us to preach and teach, He reveals His wisdom through the Holy Spirit, so be cautious of those religious leaders whose sermons are loaded with eloquent or superior theological wisdom. God speaks through man with the power of the Holy Spirit. How can Christians feel God's presence when leaders limit or demonstrate God's anointing through a seminary education?

God is omnipresent, sovereignty, and Lord or Lords. He's not a class or degree. He's G-O-D, not PhD. Christians need a biblical foundation from the Holy Bible, anything else is extra curriculum. God says "not many of us were wise, influential, or of noble birth, He chose the foolish, weak, lowly, and despised of the world to shame the strong so that no man can boast." When God called me, I was exactly what's described above. I'm pursuing my PhD. in Theology to obtain historical information that is not recorded in the Bible, but truly we don't need Theology to receive God's mercy, grace, or salvation. When I teach, I seldom flex my theological background unless I truly need to demonstrate a relevant point because Christians will not understand these terminologies. It's like speaking in tongues and the Bible warns not to use tongues unless there's an interpreter to edify the church. We could be praising the devil if we don't understand the sermon. So leaders are to preach the Word of God, not the word of theology. Christians will receive the anointing and deliverance from the power of God's Holy Spirit, His wisdom, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, not the testimony of a theological degree.
