Witch Cauldron: - How to Read Candles - Candle Magick- Beginners Lesson

Prior to your divination prepare yourself a nice relaxing bath. Add a hand full of sea salt to get your charges set where they need to be. Clear your mind of the junk you have picked up through out the day. Visualize the water washing all the negativity away from you. It is very important that your mind be at ease and clear prior to any spell working. When you are ready here is what you do.

You will need:

x3 candles (all the same colour which is your own personal choice)
x3 candle holders
1 lighter and/or matches ( i prefer matches)
an enclosed room with no windows open (no breeze)
Essential Oil (whichever you like)

Cleansing ,Consecrating and Dressing your Candles:
A vital ritual removes which any negative energies: Submerge the candle in sea salt and ask that the candles be purified - i could give you a little chant however I feel it is best if you make your own up as this adds more personal power to your ritual.

Dressing your Candles: To bring something to you
Select an essential oil (any one that you particularly like as this is a beginners lesson); rub oil on the candle in a downward motion from the top to the middle and then from the bottom to the middle

To send something away from you:
Rub your selected essestial oil from the middle of the candle out to the ends.

NOTE: Never make a back and forth motion when dressing your candles as it is really pointless. Also with the oil still remaining on your hand rub a small piece from your fingers onto your third eye (which is located in the middle of your eyebrows) and onto your breast bone and chant

"I cleanse and consecrate this candle(candles) ...
May it (they) burn with strength in the service of the light."

CANDLE MAGICK RITUAL FOR BEGINNERS:

*Set up your x3 candles in their candleholders in the shape of a triangle
*Turn off all lights in the room and meditate for 10 minutes
*Light all x3 candles WITH THE SAME MATCH

Reading the behaviour of the candle flames:

- If any of the candle flames rises and falls it suggests there is approaching danger
- If any of the candle flames move from side to side it indicates that you will soon travel
- If there are sparks rising from a candle you will need to be very cautious
-If one of the candles is extinguished suddenly and without any good reason (a breeze etc) it is a prediction of imminent disaster
- If one candle seems to burn more brightly than the other two it means success or good fortune for you
- If the end of any of the three wicks displays a brightly shining point this is a very lucky omen
-If the flame of one of the candles seems to twist and spiral it means that your enemies are plotting against you so take care and be wary of those around seeking to hurt you
