I am writing this as a special request by another AC member -
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
A pin
Gold colored glitter (small amount will suffice)
Bergamont aromatherapy essential oil
A yellow candle that tapers to the top
This spell can be done at any time so when you are ready cast a circle around you and scratch the job, position or business plan onto the candle with the pin. Make sure to write (scratch with the pin) lengthwise down one side of the yellow candle. On the opposite side (lengthways) etch the candle with your name using a pin dipped into the bergamont essential oil. Sprinkle a little bit of gold colored glitter onto the candle then it is ready to be lit; you say:
"Forces of light and purity,
lend unto me the capacity to inspire,
to command, create and understand.
Ground me in success, cloak me in victory,
by the names of power,
BY WILL SO MOTE IT BE."
Sitting still, eyes closed, use your imagination and visualize yourself in whichever position you would like to be in at present. Whether it be a new job, a promotion or your company to prosper. Meditate and keep visualizing yourself there - where you want to be. Feel what you are doing, talk to your boss or your staff, feel the surroundings and address yourself with the title that you want or whatever you want for your company. Continue to think about yourself or your company as successful and remain visualizing this until the candle fully burns out.

Post a CommentWhy is Glitter a magical ingredient in so many spells written by New Agers? What kind of energy does Glitter carry? Is it sympathetic with the flame of the candle or the Bergamont? When I think of glitter, I think of glamour- the kind used to trick people, not natural beauty. Glitter does not evoke the feeling of prosperity in me. What is it but tiny bits of plastic colored with metallic paint? Furthermore, all one has to do is look at the Wikipedia page on glitter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glitter) to see that it poses big environmental concerns. You didn't include instructions on what to do with the glitter once the spell is performed- so I'm assuming that you didn't put any thought into it and would probably just throw it away. Glitter does not decompose readily and can be accidentally digested by wildlife, potentially ripping up their insides. ARE WE NOT NATURE WORSHIPERS???
