WITCH - Non Fiction Book

So, what is a Witch? Is it a religion? Do we still use baby fat smeared on our bodies in order to fly? Why were so many people killed during the burning times both in Europe and in USA? Who or what started The Salem Witch Trials? So many questions that I have answered in WITCH (counterculture info@greenmagicpublishin.com) or www.amazon.co.uk. My book is not due out until the 10th of November however, preorders are being taken from the above.

In my non fiction book WITCH I draw on my own culture and the traditions of celtic history as far back and pre Durid times. I also explain how the Witch Craze spread worldwide commencing from the year 900 A.D up to the modern day. In order to emcompass a balanced view of why witches, wiccans, druids, ovates, bards, the Picts, the Salem Witch Trials, I have shown why, where and what started the fear and negativity of the word Witch.

I will explain to you what is means to believe in an earth based spirituality, explain about the Wiccan Religion (initiation, tools for the craft, the Zodiac, Aura reading and how to make your own witch runes for divination) and, I include, if not "blow out of the water", why so many innocent people died down through the centuries based on paranoia and disharmony within their own lives).

WITCH is an honest story about my belief system, my creed and my ancient celtic traditions. It is a book that had to be written in order to level the distortion that some feel just because they do not understand earth based religions. Yes, there is a section on spells, the Sabbats, magickal rituals etc., which I hope will enlighten people. I also look at the holocaust of herbalists, healers and "wise ones" down through the centuries and how different religions influenced these tragic murders.
