With Apologies to Robert Frost

Linda Louise Johnson
Whose car this is I think I know

I don't quite recognize it though

because it's kinda camouflaged

beneath a pile of snow.
.. .
My little car must think it queer

To not be in the garage I fear

But outside by the frozen lake

the coldest evening of the year.

It doesn't like the snow I take

it knows it's all a big mistake

and feels the fierce cold wind

and drifting downy flakes.

It doesn't know about the truck

about to tow it through the muck

of melted snow and frozen yuck,

and miles it just won't go which sucks

and miles it just won't go which sucks. .

The snow is lovely, dark and deep, but my little horn won't even beep, and the garage man my car will keep, the garage man my car will keep.
