With the Duracraft Vehicle Electronic Air Freshener, Smells Stay Away

Brian Jones
I drive a lot. I mean-a lot! I love to drive and I will do anything to have a pleasant drive. I listen to the music of my choice through my Sirius Satellite Radio through my eight speaker system. I steer, accelerate, and brake with ease in my 2001 Cadillac Deville. My windows are tinted just right-not too dark, not too light. I sip on a diet Pepsi Max held snug in my drink holder. And for a long time, I was missing only one thing-olfactory pleasure. The smells of the road and the black smoke spewing from the car in front of me, and the open half-squeezed ketchup packs in the Burger King bag tossed on the back seat floor, and my wife's gaseous emissions all hit me at once one day and I declared finally that ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

Strangely, I found what I was looking for at Best Buy, not the usual store you go to for air fresheners. Nonetheless, there it was: the Duracraft Vehicle Electronic Air Freshener. This little silver and black unit (my favorite colors) plugs into the cigarette lighter/electricity adapter of the car. It consists of a one piece unit with the adapter at one end and a bulbous vented ball at the other. Both ends are connected by a bendable, rubberized rod. I knew immediately that this was perfect. It was so perfect, in fact, that I bought two.

I have about 5 of these electrical adapters in my car and three of them were free at the time. I put my units in the back seat, one on each door. Now how this works is that the car's power pulls air through the bulbous vented ball which is actually an ionizer, whereby the odors are neutralized. It is quiet as a feather and the flexible, rubberized rod bends the bulbous vented ball in any direction you would like.

By itself, these units work rather well, but they are odor neutral. What I like to do is buy some essence oils of various scents. Personally I like musky opium smells or tantric dream mixes or Dragon's Blood. I don't know of what these are composed actually, I just know that I like 'em. So I put a few drops into each of the bulbous vented balls and they distribute the scent as they clean. It's perfect. They work perfectly well, and I have never been happier with such a simple purchase.

The Duracraft Vehicle Electronic Air Freshener is only available in limited supply in store but they can be had on sale at the time of this writing for only $16.99 at www.bestbuy.com . Enjoy the ride.
