With Over 52 Million Votes Last Night- Who Went Home on "American Idol"
David Cook performed off his second album debuting the first single titled, "The Last Goodbye." Fans love Cook and it's not a big shock as to why. He's very talented, rock driven, and performs with a full fledge band. What's not to love? His musical style reminds me of Chris Daughtry. May 1, he will be involved in a race for hope to help find a cure for brain cancer. He admitted his mother was in the audience because she wanted to meet Steven Tyler. His mom hopped up and hugged Aerosmith's front man.
Katy Perry sang "E.T." which is my favorite song ever by her. She had dancers dressed in alien costumes and strobe lights circling the stage. Kanye West sang with her, as he did on her new album. Live it didn't song as good as the studio album, but it was very close. They did a really good job. Her costume looked terrible though - there's no denying that. As she got half way through the song her voice matched the studio album version, so it picked up a lot.

Bottom 3: Jacob Lusk, Stefano Langone, and Haley Reinhart were placed on the stools. Then Ryan admitted Haley is safe. That means the correct two - the two that should be in the bottom - are in fact in the bottom. Justice is served! Jacob and Stefano can sing, just not as well as the others.

After 52 million votes Stefano Langone was sent home.
