Without You... ? ? ?

A True Love

SAIKAT KUMAR DUTTA

Without you,
A matter without any density,
Without you,
A deep sea without its salinity.

Without you,
A talent without any brain,
Without you,
A cloudy day without its rain.

Without you,
A poem without any poet,
Without you,
An evening without any sunset.

Without you,
A hospital without any bed,
Without you,
A blood without its colour red.

Without you,
A kitchen without any utensils,
Without you,
A fish without its respiratory gills.

Without you,
A shirt without any collar,
Without you,
The U.S.A without its dollar.

Without you,
A mobile phone without any battery,
Without you,
A heart structure without its artery.

Without you,
Merchant of Venice without any Shylock,
Without you,
A talkative girl without a single talk.

Without you,
A job without any salary.
Without you,
A computer without its memory.

Without you,
A cough without any cold,
Without you,
The verb 'tell' without its past form 'told'.

Without you,
An examination without any guard,
Without you,
A blue sky without its bird.

Without you,
A rose is without any colour and brightness,
Without you,
a good night is without its darkness.

Without you,
I am so unhappy and so sad,
Without you,
I take my pen, but always forget to take my notepad.

WOW! Dude, you blow me away with how seamlessly you meld cold science with warm emotion, creating a truly unique style of poetry the likes of which I have never seen before. Truly original work!

Oh how beautiful. This expresses very well the pain felt when separated from someone by time and space. I can feel it too. :)
