Woman*

Paul Rance
Woman*

Body carved,
With perfect care,
Inviting many
A lustful stare,
Woman, Venus-like body,
And face congruent,
Who, with many,
A pleasant hour is spent.

* I was only 20 when I wrote this in 1980, and I was obviously putting women on a pedestal, and the last two lines are not really relating to personal experience. I was a shy boy with the girls back then. Probably down to the girl vampire attack years earlier...

Enjoyed! :-) I love poetry and none is wrong, in my book. Poems are written feelings. Thanks for sharing this very interesting work. I favorited you. I discovered you through John Smither's article about teaching jobs in China. Write on. We will be reading. :-)
