Wonderful Desserts for the Holidays

The holidays are coming and I know that we are going to want to have some quick desserts to take to the office. I've found some great recipes for you to show off. These recipes are quick and easy. Many of them require a very limited amount of ingredients too. You can find all of these recipes and more at http://www.womansday.com.

I love the Womansday Magazine. They have so many wonderful recipes and ideas in their magazines. I would encourage you to purchase one or go to their site. They have so many things to see at their site. Trust me, you won't get tired or bored.

This first recipe comes from a Woman's Day magazine dated May 25, 2004. It is called a Chocolate-PeanutButter Refrigerator Cake. I have included the ingredients so that you will see how easy it is going to be to make. There is also a picture of it on the front of this article. By the way, have fun looking at all of the pictures at this site. They have some scrumptious looking desserts.

Items that you will need

heavy (whipping) cream, peanut butter chips, chocolate graham crackers

This next recipe comes from a Woman's Day magazine dated December 17, 1996. It is called a Cookie Fruit Tart. This recipe is great for all of you who are watching their weight. It is made with low fat and reduced fat products. I like the idea of having fruit for dessert too. (Ingredients are here so you can be prepared)

Items that you will need

refrigerated sugar-cookie dough, cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, fruit

This last recipe comes from a Woman's Day magazine dated April 1, 2004. It is called a No-Bake Chocolate Truffle Pie. I like the idea of no-bake. This recipe looks like it would be great to take to the office. You will be the talk of the office for a while. Everyone will want to know the recipe. (Ingredients are here so you can be prepared)

pecans, chocolate-flavored crumb crust, caramels, evaporated milk, chocolate chips, heavy whipping cream, butter
