Women Are from Earth and Men Are from Outerspace

Everyone has heard the coined expression "women are from Mars and men are from Venus." However, that statement isn't necessarily true. The truth is women are from Earth, or should I say more down to earth and men are from outerspace, or should I say have their head in the clouds. When it comes understanding what a woman is thinking or what makes them tick is actually more simple than complex. Women are more down to earth. They want the simple things in life like happiness, a family, just someone they can trust. We seek true love and a life long companion that will take care of them and protect them. A lot of times men feel their significant other is trying to be like their mother. This is the nurturing part of a woman. Because men have their heads in the clouds they feel that the woman is being bossy or even controlling, but what they're really trying to do is provide the best they can for the man. A woman doesn't want just a husband that will put bread-and-butter on the table to bring home the bacon. They want companionship and friendship. Someone they can talk to. In fact studies have shown that a man who is married will live longer than a man who was not. The reason for this? Because someone is there to watch over them and make sure they do the right thing for themselves. Men on the other hand are reckless, risktakers, daring and like to see just how far they can go. An unmarried man will push himself too far because he didn't have that companion to tell him to stop. He doesn't have that person that cares for him, or as we think of it that mother type figure.

The best I can figure this is women learn this at a very young age from their mothers. Also, is there natural instinct. The man was to go out and hunt, be the bearer of the income. This is his way of taking care of his family. But like I said, men like to push themselves as far as they can because they are brave and bold.

This is just something to keep in mind for the men out there who feel their wives or girlfriends fiancés are trying to be their moms and feel inferior or being treated like a child and not a significant other. Women have more heart than that and are more caring and giving credit.
