Women Locked on Passenger Plane Files Lawsuit

My first question is how can you sleep through a plane landing and everyone leaving the airplane? My second question is how come your phone did not work and you sat there for four hours until you were found? My third question is how the heck did the flight crew not realize their was still someone on board?

Ginger McGuire, a Michigan women, filed a lawsuit today against United Airlines and a partner airline of theirs. The lawsuit claims that McGuire experienced emotional distress when she was locked on an empty airplane for four hours.

Ginger McGuire apparently feel asleep aboard the United Express Flight and she did not wake when the flight landed. When she awoke the plane was empty. For four hours she sat alone on the airplane until a cleaning crew boarded the aircraft and found her. Her ordeal did not end there. She was then detained by airport officials and questioned extensively. McGuire seeks compensation for her distress in the sum of $25,000 to $75,000.

I honestly do not know what is scarier; a grown women cannot find a way off of an empty plane or the flight crew did not realize there was another person on board. Yeah I feel real confident in flying. The flight crew appears fully capable of taking care of dozens of passengers in the sky. Now we even have to worry about other passengers and their own capabilities or lack of. All I know for sure is that when I fly I am going to be the one sitting in the emergency exit row. I am not leaving my fate to anyone else.
