Women With Moxie began meeting in August of 2007 with a mission to bring local business women together to build valuable relationships. Once per month, the group meets for social interaction and business networking in a relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere. Women With Moxie is inexpensive to join, and membership comes with a bevy of benefits. Women may post their profiles online, along with events, requests and business news. They also gain free admission to the mixers and discounted admission to Member2Member events. Other benefits include discounts from sponsors such as WQ Magazine and other opportunities to promote businesses.
Women With Moxie is geared toward creative business women who find social interaction with likeminded women to be beneficial. Their Moxie Mixers provide a wonderful opportunity for business women to make connections, find new clients, talk about their expertise, enjoy some girl bonding, and rub elbows with other successful women. Moxie Mixers are casual in nature, allowing members to connect without the high pressure of some other networking groups.
Women With Moxie promotes interaction with local business women. Local chapters are the key to connecting women who can not only interact online but also face to face without driving a long distance.
The Venice chapter of Women With Moxie has four lovely hostesses: Sandra Finger of BankUnited, Angela Balsinger of First American Title Insurance Company, Esther Bird of Bright Future Coaching and Paula Carney of OMNI Home Care. These spunky ladies will be organizing the Venice mixers and providing support for their local members.
The first Venice mixer will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. at Boca Royale Golf & Country Club located at 1601 Englewood Road in Englewood, Florida. Boca Royale is located on Highway 776, about 4 miles south of Tamiami Trail.
If you want to network with a fun, supportive group of business women, this group is the one to join.
