Every woman dreads this time of year when your having to switch from the tank tops and shorts to the coats that make you look like last year's snowman. However there are ways to bring in your own style and look into your winter clothes. There are also some must haves for this winter season.
First accessorize accessorize! Scarves are still in and there are so many out there in different materials and colors. Makes sure to have a few bright colors and also at least one neutral like black or cream. Skinny scarves and fat scarves: purchase both; they are worth the price. You can add these to any outfit, even the dreaded turtleneck to add a bit of spice. The skinnier scarves can also be worn inside to keep you warm in the office or school. Cute ear muffs and gloves can complete the look for outside. Keeping warm does not always mean freezing!
Always remember: If your teeth are chattering, it's not sexy, so purchase yourself a good jacket. Trenches are classic and keep you warm from neck to knees. If your really on the ball catching leather stores in the spring when they are shedding their coats for summer is the best time to find a classy leather coat for the following winter. Leather is always in fashion. Another think to keep in mind is if you are in a very cold part of the world you can still get coats that do not make you look like a teddy bear and keep you warm due to the miracle of science so look around.
Boots are in again this year many of them bringing back the styles from years previous. Boots are another great way to keep warm and look good doing it. Ankle boots or all the way up to your knee, pick whatever you walk best in, slipping and breaking an ankle is not fashionable no matter how classy your feet look.
Lastly remember the fashion trends that never go out of style. A long sleeve white button up shirt is good for every woman. Black slacks go with almost everything and looks greats with all the latest trends this year. Sweaters are a wonderfully feminine way to keep warm, just remember it does not have to be shapeless to keep you from freezing.
