March is Women's History Month. Many of us know about many notable women who have played apart in shaping the world and the United States. For students who need to write a report during this month about a woman who made history the sites listed in this article can help them get started with their research.

There are several women who have made history in more sections than the school History section. There are women who have made history in science, math, music, health, physical education, and various other avenues.

Many of us think of Rosa Parks, Madam Curie, Sally Ride, and Amelia Earhart when it comes to women in history. The females we don't think about are to much Jackie Joyner-Kasee, Wilma Rudolph, Joanne Simpson, and Sarah Boone. These women have made their own history in areas of their specialty.

Each of the women who have made their place in history have done this because they believed in their cause and themselves. Without these famous women in history, the lives of women wouldn't be as we know it now.

Adults can use these resources to learn more about notable women in history. For adults who may not know about some of the women in history, they can learn about women in specific areas of history.
