The clinic is called Women's Mountain Bike Skills and will held on Sunday, May 1 st . The clinic is for women only who want to learn how to ride a mountain bike or need a refresher course.
A former professional mountain bike racer, Laurie Brandt will be teaching this clinic that is full of techniques and will get you on your way to mountain biking with confidence. She'll show you how to distribute your weight on the bike and bike movement. You'll start out easy, on the grass while you practice how to balance yourself and the bike, and you'll also learn how to fall safely which is a very important technique.
After practicing on the grass, the clinic will move to nearby trails so that you can apply your new techniques and skills.
For this clinic you'll need a mountain bike in good working order, snack, water, spare tube, pump, helmet, comfortable riding clothes and a jacket.
The Women's Mountain Bike Skills clinic is Sunday, May 1 st and everyone who wants to attend will meet at the McNeill Office on 2104 S Rio Grande Ave. The clinic is from 10 AM - 2 PM and is $45 per person.
