Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter Has Barking Dog Charges Dismissed

It seems 1970's icon, former Wonder Woman; Lynda Carter is experiencing resurgence in media interest driven by a flurry of Wonder Woman news hitting the internet.

All things Wonder Woman and Lynda Carter are making headlines, including the latest incident in Lynda Carter's personal life. The actress, famous for squeezing her stunning curves into the patriotic star spangled bathing suit for three seasons of Wonder Woman in the 1970's, had charges brought against her by her neighbors in an upper class Maryland suburb, dismissed.

The charges resulted when Ms Carter's neighbors reported her to animal services, for allowing her dog to bark unabated through the night. Ms Carter's neighbors contacted Animal Services when they were unable to contact the former Wonder Woman directly.

The charges were dismissed as groundless, and Lynda Carter and her Labrador have since made internet headlines, amidst resurgence in Wonder Woman related news.

Lynda Carter has recently weighed in on talk of a big screen remake of Wonder Woman, and which actress would be ideal for the part. Rumors had her dishing Sandra Bullock as too old, which Lynda Carter denies, and supporting Eliza Dushku. There has been no news of a possible cameo, for Lynda, the actress who most think of when they think of Wonder Woman.

Unsurprisingly, Lynda Carter has also been supportive of Wonder Woman's DC Comics makeover, where Princess Diana trades in the star spangled bathing suit and red Go-Go boots for a more edgy modern look, with biker boots, jacket, leggings and more supportive bustier-all more conducive to crime fighting.

The new look will undoubtedly receive support from the actresses in contention for the lead role in the big screen remake of Wonder Woman. Leggings are infinitely more forgiving that the bloomers and bustier Lynda Carter sported on the small screen for three seasons on television.

Of course, had Lynda Carter, not exposed so much skin, in her run as Wonder Woman, you could ask whether, her day in court, thirty plus years later, over a barking dog would have made internet news. Hopefully, Lynda and her neighbor can come to a resolution over her barking Labrador without further charges. If not, be prepared to see more of the issue used as press for the upcoming big screen remake of Wonder Woman.

If you are unfamiliar with what all the fuss is about over Lynda Carter and her 70's rendition of Wonder Woman, episodes can be watched free online on the WB website.
