Wordpress: What Theme Should I Use?

Kelly Fleming
There are numerous Wordpress themes available, practically everywhere. The only problem you will have is based on what kind of website/blog you have. It also will depend if you want to spend any money, if so what is your budget? Searching around can land you with a great Wordpress theme just finding out where to look is the problem. Here are a few tips on where to find great themes.

Basic Default Theme:

This one as most every blogger knows is really boring. Most users change this over right away. This theme could work well for a very basic site with just content on it.

In Your Admin Area:

Did you know that you can have access to hundreds of free themes just by going to your account area. Here you can search for a theme by; color, columns, width, features, and subject. Narrowing down the search will save time from having to sift through so many themes.

Go to Google:

I did a search on Google for 'free Wordpress themes' and came across a site called Wordpress Themes Base and in this site they list hundreds upon hundreds of free Wordpress themes that can be downloaded. Some of them are very simple while others have a great design and can be used for advertisements.

More Expensive:

Do another search for 'Wordpress themes' by itself and you will come across pages of themes that available for purchase. They usually start at $15 and go all the way up to $1,500. These are good for users with a business model and high end sales. Some of these will be complicated and it will take awhile to get used to, but when you do they will look great and help sales.

Super Adsense Themes:

These themes are, well you guessed centered around adsense. There are 32 themes available for $5. They are easy to navigate and would be great to use when deal with niche sites, XFactor sites, and even Sniper sites. They are three columns; one for content, another for ads whether it is affiliate or adsense, and the last one for widgets.

Finding the right theme will take time and patience. The best thing to do is just to play around with the different designs until you come across one that you really like. Have an open mind and picture what everything will look like when it is done.
