Words

Look upon the words,
in the book,
in your hands;
What, do you see?

Do you see
Adventure?
Mystery?
Or do you see
nothing,
just lines and dots?

If that is all you see,
then surely,
you're not looking hard,
'cause there's always
more to find.

In that hard-bound book you see,
lies thoughts,
excitement,
worries,
tragedy.

There is more to words,
than what meets the eye.
There is
knowledge,
philosophy,
moral.

There is,
a story,
to tell.
