Words Like A Knife
Now it`s too late I finally see through your lies.
Dark insanity shining in your eyes.
Like a fly in a web I am already gone.
Lured by your voice I know what I did wrong.
I trusted you too much.
Seduced by your touch.
As I lie on this bed.
My heart already dead.
Your words penetrate deep in me.
I scream you laugh in sickening glee.
I can`t fight you anymore.
What`s left of me seeps onto the floor.
Your words like a knife slashes left and right.
I`ll never survive till the morning light.

Post a CommentA truly chilling moment within a night that even makes rhymes suspect. The hindsight within the heroine is learned yet unfinished, and the question of what happens at morning is intriguing!
