He tries to read her lips so he can understand
what it is she is trying to say to him
In his world of silence there are no words
only quietness only peace
Words of love
Three words spoken with such feeling
she sees the love in his eyes
and for a moment time stands still
as he says again ...I love you
Words of fear
Trembling with fear, her eyes wet with tears
the woman tries to stand tall, look brave
but each word that comes out of him
feels so violent.... so hard.... so sharp
Words of hope
They listen to him as he makes a speech
maybe he will make a difference
could he be the one they are looking for?
They smile as his words fill them with hope
Our words
Let words not just be words
empty and with no meaning
Words are the voices of our souls
The interlocking links for all mankind
