Yes We Are

george chavez
Is it good enough yet? I can rewrite it again...let me get in the mood first.

They will laugh at me, think I am not right for this

Their criticism might feel sharp like little needles piercing my heart.

I don't know why I do this but I know I must.

I must because there is something in me that struggles and fights to get out, makes me say clever things or repeat out

loud foolish verses IN PUBLIC!.

Or write to you in privy.

I must say it, must say out loud, in writing, to everyone, what I feel inside and out, my muse is really you out there.

Listen to me, for a bit, please.

Why, oh why I do not know.

I lay my thoughts before you...

To comfort, to bemuse, to befuddle, to confuse?

We share my words together.

This is great. Very true. Writers guard their pieces of work and then send them out.
