Wordy Wednesday

Today is Wednesday and that means it is time for Wordy Wednesday! On Wordy Wednesday, I'll share one of my writings with you. It may be anything - a poem, a short story, an old essay (doubtful, though, as I don't think I can find them), or just something that I wrote for fun. Perhaps it'll even just be a line or two and I'll ask for your suggestions which you can either put in the comments or publish as your own article!

On this Wordy Wednesday, I thought I'd share one of my fake funny news stories that I wrote just because it was fun to write.

New Evidence Proves Bush Is A Terrorist

Yesterday, a picture emerged proving that Bush is a terrorist. A group touring the White House came upon an unlikely sight. Unsure of what she was seeing, Miss Roberta Smith snapped a picture of the strange object.

"It looked like an odd fence," Smith told reporters, "so I just put the picture in one of my online photo galleries."

A few reporters who had been to the Middle East became worried when they spotted the picture while sorting through their own online photo galleries.

"It was a featured picture," said Sunny Brown. "Yes," agreed Josh McKenzie, "it was on the front page of the photo gallery site."

When the reporters spotted the image, they immediately had other reporters come over to see the image. Then they called the local police and had them come to see the pictures.

The reporters did not want to release false information.

There was a series of phone calls and visits to the newsroom. It was finally confirmed that the picture was of Bush wearing a bomb belt.

"That explains why the tour guide would not let us stop," commented Smith. She also told reporters, "I think it is really important that people know the truth."

When asked for any comments, Bush stood still and did not say a single word.

Obviously, I wrote this when George H.W. Bush was still president. However, he still was the president. I was not being serious about any of this story. I am not political at all and most of it confuses me. I like humor and stick with humor when it comes to anything that may even sound one bit political. So, remember, this story is just a joke.
