Work at Home as a Virtual Assistant

A virtual assistant is someone that handles bookkeeping, administrative duties, travel arrangements, transcription and correspondence, and other support services that can be done remotely via email and phone for a small or mid sized business.

To become one you will need a computer as well as software to record the information. An example: Microsoft power point, excel, and word. As well as a fax machine, telephone and possible even a filing cabinet.

Most companies might even require acquired skills and certification to do this. This information as well as companies hiring will be in links that I will share in the next step.

There are many sites out there that claim to teach you these skills BEWARE of scams. the companies I have included, most include information on obtaining your training and certification. www.virtualassistantjobs.com and www.teamdoubleclick.com are two links that can show you how to get started in this field.
