Work at home schemes and scams.
I have spent the last couple years researching these "Quick avenues of Internet income" And found some interesting information.
Can you get paid to take surveys is one of the fields I have spent most of my time researching these scams.
I have some interesting information on said opportunities.
One of my tips for everyone out there is when you want to know about something, Just goto google.com and type in the business or website name and then leave a space and type in "scam" without quotes of course. Example... "paidtosurf.com scam" Always leave off the www. That will return some results you might find fascinating. It's a great way to get some insight of what that company or site is by others on the internet that may have already had an experience with that company.
Now, for the "Beware!" Don't just check one or two of those search results, check quite a few. If any of the results turn up are on Blog pages, Do yourself a favor and try to stay clear. Look with care! Explanation follows..
These scam artists who setup these bogus companies know people search to find out if they are for real or not. So what they do is setup blogs and even forums under other names and do Brags about their company on these places. Due to legal reasons, I will not post some of the major scam forums.
But you might see a search result and click it and see it's a forum, that's fine, but all through the forum you see a certain few people that are posting Great news about a company. You check a few more search results and see all the other sites are posting bad stuff about that same company. Why you ask is that one saying such good stuff? Because they are most likely being paid for this. A lot of the scammers pay people to go around to different forums and blogs and post good things about them.
I recently ran across this one forum that every place they suggested as good were downright scam sites. BUT, when I took a closer look, each and every post had an affiliate or referral link to that scam site. Meaning the poster gets paid each time you click his post! I was amazed at just how many of these sites there are out there! They set their forum up as "Don't fall for the lame sites, don't fall for the scams! Come here and get the truth for yourself! Get our List of known good companies for free! But then each and every link they have is a referral or affiliate link.
I have nothing wrong with people making money, but after you get done reading this you will understand my dilemma with their intentions.
1. If they are truly helping you, then why make money from you.
2. REAL companies that actually pay for surveys taken, do NOT allow affiliate links. Some will let you use a referral to make a buck, They will NOT let you post that on the internet and try to get people signing up for their service. It demeans the company and then they can't get serious companies requesting them for data collection. The company is using any means they can to get people to join so the results requested by their client will be tainted also. These companies thousands of dollars for research. They want REAL research. Not some company using any tactic they can to get customers.
There is big money in R&D and it demands real companies to produce it.
I recently joined this one survey company, that once you are a member, nowhere on the site does it say anything about actually taking surveys. Nowhere to go on their site to look for a survey. What it DOES have is page after page of "Make money referring people to us!" Then that next day the email account I used to signup had 200+ spam mails. Buried after severl hops and skips through a 15 page terms of service was this little goodie "By becoming a member you allow us the right to sign you up with 3rd party companies that we see fit to. It even states that at signup they capture your IP address and use that also when signing you up for offers. Now see how they can pay you for referring someone to them and give you 50 cents while they make 5 to 300 dollars on each person each day!
After all this research in these sites that say they will help you find real opportunities at an online income.
I found this one quite unique http://times2fxp.info/ There are a few more But I have permission to use this one.
They post a bunch of the scam companies and post a lot of real companies. There is not ONE referral or affiliate link on that site.
Hers a few tidbits from that site as far as what pays and how you can make some extra income.
http://www.contractorboard.com/ This Company pays from 10 to 50 dollars a survey. They send no spam and I personally became a member and in the last 2 months have taken 2 - $40.00 surveys.
You wont get a lot of surveys from this company, but the ones you get pay excellent. Both surveys I took were 15 minutes in length.
Heres another real one.. http://www.brandinstitute.com/ This company deals a lot on the medical field. They will have you do surveys anywhere from the medicines you take to asking for nurses and doctors. They pay anywhere from $5.00 to $200.00. depending on the survey. If you are a nurse, expect $20 to $50 surveys. If you are a consumer, expect from $5 to $40.
As a consumer, I took 3 surveys so far. One at $10, one at $20 and one at $40. Not one of them last more than 20 minutes.
Each of the above companies pay in check after each survey is completed. Checks take 2 to 6 weeks, depends on the actual close date of the survey.
At http://times2fxp.info is where I found these real opportunities. They have many more of these survey companies posted.
Now can you make a living at taking surveys? No. BUT you can put a heck of dent in an extra income. I have signed up with a few of the other companies suggested from that times2 site and I am averaging an extra "average" 400 a month for about 10 hours work each month.
So next time you run out and sign up for something, go take a look and see if someone else had an experience with it first. And remember, if you see something on a forum or a blog and it's a referral link, then pass on it. Someone is paying for that being posted.

Post a CommentGood ideas, we see, that the Sales Pages of the so called money earning programs are written by professional ghost writers so these sales pages hypnotise the prospecting knowledge seekrs and often over describes the product. After paying for the product the buyer repents whenhe finds that the product it not so, what he was made to think by the Sales Page and he tries for refund.
One other big scam is Recurring Payment membership sites, which allows to download cheap e-products for $1 for the first couple of days, and then start charging $27 or so pm. For these, I advise not to try directly by Credit Card, but by the Paypal Account. Because in paypal account one can have a check over his subscriptions and cancel the same at his will. I further advise that immediately after subscribing the mebershiop sites, check the contents, start downloading and cancel the subscription. Even after canceling the subscription you can download for the remaining validity of $1 initial subscription
