Typical issues that telemarketers face are:
Selling
Lead Generation
Gathering Information
Improved Customer Service
First you need to know if you are not a people person telemarketing is not for you even if you read off a script. I do not say this to be mean, but from experience, I had one job that was work from home that was telemarketing that lasted a whole hour. Worse part was that I was impressed that I lasted that long. I can't sell cars if I could I would be out making a bunch of cash at a dealership right now, therefore I can not sell things on the phone. It is hard enough demonstrating things in person, have you ever had to tell someone how to work something over the phone and just get so frustrated you want to cry. Well that was me if I called you and almost started balling when I did my hour of time, I am sorry.
Lets face it if you do telemarketing you will have to deal with a lot of stress, you are not people's favorite friends. Most people would rather become a cannibal and chew on their leg than talk to a telemarketer. Simple fact being that telemarketers are not supposed to back down, they are there to try to live and make money, they make more money when they can annoy you enough for you to break down and buy what they are selling.
This has to be one of the most popular work at home opportunities (non scam) in the last five years. This is simply because they can offer someone that is a contractor, which is what you are called if you work at home for less money than someone that you would have to pay for space for them to work at, a phone for them to use and power and so on for the building. Plus you are not an employee so you don't get paid sick or vacation time, benefits workers compensation or if you become unemployed and loose your contract you are not eligible to received unemployment benefits So this means that the company can cut down on a lot of their costs by contracting to someone at home. A good thing is that you will get your check with nothing taken out so if you are in a pinch you can just go and use the money but you need to remember to save some money aside to use at a later time when you do your yearly tax returns.
Deductions those things you use for work, the computer you type on, the phone you call on and so on is something that you can put as a deduction for your taxes because they are things that you use for work.

Post a Commenttelemarketing can be stressful at times when you have difficult people
but I love it and been doing it over seven years. Selling is harder then cold calls
or appointment selling but I do it all
Interesting. Maybe your next article could be giving a list of places like this that are not scams for those of us brave enough to try it. :)
