World Cup Party Recipe: Pretzel Peanut Butter Balls

Amy Stepp
I guess I am just a big fan of anything chocolate because when it comes time to decide on a food dish for a party, I am always the one who makes the dessert plate. For your World Cup party I have a really great desert plate that will having them asking for the recipe!

Ingredients
2 cups creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups of confectioner sugar
8 oz milk chocolate
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
wax paper
pretzels (crumbled up)

Step One

Cream 1/2 cup of butter, 2 cups of creamy peanut butter, and 1/2 tsp. of vanilla into a large bowl. Stir until creamy, or when your spoon moves smoothly throughout the mixture.

Step Two
Add 3 cups of the confectioner sugar by hand to the mixture above. Knead the sugar into the dough until blended well.

Step Three
Dust your hand with a little confectioner sugar and roll a walnut size ball out of dough and place it on a sheet of wax paper.

Step Four
In a double broiler, melt the milk chocolate and the semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Step Five
Dip peanut butter balls quickly into melted chocolate and cover completely.

Step Six
Sprinkle pretzel crumbs all over the peanut butter ball except for the bottom side that will be placed onto wax paper.

Step Seven
Refrigerate overnight.
