World Shocked by King of Pop's Death

Jermaine Jackson Asks Press to Respect Family's Privacy

Most of the world knows Michael Jackson and most of the world was used to the King of Pop being on the front page with headlines of bazaar behavior and musical acclaim but no one was ready for the headline "King of Pop Dies" to come when it did.

There was satirical speculation for years that Michael Jackson, who was often rumored to be obsessed with youth, would die an early death and his public appearances for several years before his death depicted a more ghost like and detached person with each new photo op.

According to a press conference held by Michael Jackson's brother, Jermaine Jackson, the legendary King of Pop stopped breathing at his home in California. Jermaine Jackson did not give a clear account of what his brother was doing at the time of his collapse. He did however state clearly that Michael Jackson's personal physician attempted unsuccessfully to resuscitate Jackson before paramedics arrived.

Jermaine Jackson continued on stating that his brother arrived at the UCLA Ronald Regan Medical Center at 1:14pm and was declared dead at 2:26pm after an hour of the hospital team's attempts to revive him. According to Jermaine Jackson, Michael Jackson's cause of death will be uncertain until the autopsy is complete.

"The family requests that the media please respect our Privacy during this tough time" he said with futility.
