World of Warcraft: How to Battle a Druid with a Shaman

A Shaman in PVP verses a druid is sometimes one of the hardest battles for a shaman. A shaman is known to be one of the jacks of all trades, but also a druid is a jack of all trades as well. So the battle can prove to be as short as a few seconds or as long as ten minutes. It mainly depends on who gets the jump on the other and who is the better player at their class. Personally I use wind furry on my weapons or weapon at all times while in player verse player. That is since I got it, before I used rock biter or frost brand.

In any form it is always a good idea to purge the druid before you do battle with them. This will take away the heals and buffs on them. Most druids will have buffs on them.

If a druid starts the battle in bear form expect them to jump around you and try to get behind you. See if they get behind you then they will have the upper hand because most of your spells caste when the opponent is in front of you. Plus your melee attacks will not hit them when they get behind you as well. So what you want to do is get behind them and try to instant dps them till they get low. Most times druids will shift out of form to heal when they get low. When they do you will try to use earth shock to stop their caste.

If a druid starts in cat form then they are going to try to get the jump on you. They will either attack while stealth or they will try to just out dps you. Most times I don't worry about their dps because I have health potions on me. I usually caste earth binding totem and go all out dps. Most times that works. The thing to remember is when a druid is in feral form they have to shift out to heal themselves.

If a druid starts in caster form then this is the time to go all out dps. This form is the one of the weakest druid forms (unless restro). I have always just gone into battle with them and dps'ed my way through it.

This is just my opinion on how to take out a druid in pvp. Others people might have better strategy then I do but I would suggest that you pvp in a style that suits you. Also try out many styles, you never you know what one you will like.
