To begin, right away when you start out in Northshire Valley, turn around and kill the level 1 and level 2 Young Wolves until you reach level 2. This step should take no more then 9 kills (even all at level 1).
Next, trek back over to Deputy Willem and accept the quest "A Threat Within" which wants you to speak with Marshal McBride who is located right inside of the only building in the immediate area. Go talk with McBride; he gives you the quest "Kobold Camp Cleanup." Take the quest and head back outside to Deputy Willem and accept the two quests he is offering.
Next, find Eagan Peltskinner and turn in the quest to talk to him. He gives you a quest to kill wolves and bring back 8 meat, turn back around and begin killing wolves venturing more and more toward the Kobold camp to your right. This way, right when you are done getting the tough wolf meat, you can kill the 10 kobold vermin needed for your other quest. Sometime during the killing you should level up to level three. After having both quests completed, go turn both in. Upon turning in at Marshal McBride, you will receive two more quests, one being go kill 10 Kobold Workers. The other quest you get from him is to deliver a letter to your class' trainer, move into the building and talk to your trainer. After selling and emptying your bag, go kill the Kobold Workers. Upon completing that quest, go back to McBride and get his final Kobold killing quest. If you don't level up from turning in the quest you should be very. Head into the mine to kill the 12 Kobold Laborers. Return to McBride and turn in the last Kobold quest. He gives you a quest to go to Goldshire, this is actually the final quest you do in the "Training Wheel" area.
Head back out of the building, sell and empty your bags and then head east, to the Vineyards to kill the Defalis Thugs to obtain the 12 red burlap bandanas for the quest Brotherhood of thieves you picked up a while ago. This quest usually takes me about 15 kills to achieve and during which I always seem to level 5. After you obtain the 12 red burlap bandanas, go turn in the quest to Deputy Williem. He then gives you two more quests. The first quest you get is to go talk to Milly Osworth who is located on the other side of the building, next to the empty pastor.
Run over to her, and get her quest to go into the Vineyards and bring her back her 8 crates of harvest. Run back to the Vineyards and collect the 8 harvest containers, after this run to the eastern hill line and find Garrick Padfoot and give him a run for his money. After killing him, bring the 8 harvests back to Milly Osworth and bring Garrick's head back to Deputy Williem.
Milly Osworth will ask you to deliver the grape manifest to Brother Neals. After turning into both Milly Osworth and Deputy Williem, travel up to the top tower in the building located in Northshire Abby to turn in the grape manifest to Brother Neals. At this point, your completion of the "Training Wheel's Area" is almost complete.
All that is left is to leave and head to Goldshire. Leaving Northshire abby, you will come across Falkhaan Isenstrider who gives you the quest to talk with someone inside of the Lion's Pride Inn located in Goldshire, accept it and head there. After completing that quest, head outside of the Lions Pride in and walk across the pathway to Marshal Dughan, talk with him and receive your Pikeman Sheild. Congratulations, the training wheels are now off. This process usually takes between 20minuts and one hour, depending on your toon, and how many additional mobs you kill. This leaves you bars away from level 6, unless you live by the rule where you kill everything you come across regardless for the extra experience, then you should be over half way to level 7. Good luck, I hope this helps.
