Horde and Alliance Quest : Rescue OOX-22/FE!
This quest requires Level 35 at yellow difficulty to obtain, turns green at level 40, and grey at level 46. The Quest is started by Homing Robot OOX-22/FE at coordinates (53.4, 55.6) within Feralas.
Description: "The gnome's voice crackles once again from the robot: "I need to move OOX-22/FE to an open, safe place so it can begin a lengthy take-off procedure. It has built-in cloaking, but I need time on my end to make it operational again. Escort the robot from its current location to, let's say, the main road! That should be a perfect place, and long enough, to get things online!" "Escort it safely and then come talk to me in Booty Bay! Oglethorpe Obnoticus - out!""
Objectives
Escort OOX-22/FE to safety, then report to Oglethorpe Obnoticus in Booty Bay.
Rewards
45 Silver, 350 reputation with the Booty Bay faction, -350 Reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers faction and +7,420 experience. Includes the choice of one of the following items; Failed Flying Experiment or Chainlink Towel.
Rescue OOX-22/FE! requires you to escort the Homing Robot you previously found in the Find OOX-22/FE! quest through the tunnel and a little bit outside of it towards the main road. You will be forced to encounter several yeti along the way, unless you have cleared the tunnel previously, with the exception of a couple triggered spawns that occur as part of the quest. The robot will heal in between battles, so as long as you keep most of the agro away from it, you are likely to pass this mission with ease. If failed, you can restart the quest by finding the robot in the original spot within the tunnel. It may take a small amount of time to respawn. Oglethorpe's location in The Cape of Stanglethorn is (43, 72).
