Quest Briefing

"Skylord Omnuron wants us to find Aviana's Egg, and I can almost guarantee you it's cloaked by one of Sethria's shadow devices. Search around the camp for shadow cloak generators and shut those things down until you find the egg. Once you've unveiled it, I'll call out to the other druids. Defend that egg until we can carry it off to safety. Go get that egg, *Your Name*!"

Egg Hunt Objectives

Disable the Shadow Cloak Generators until you unveil Aviana's Egg. Once the egg is unveiled, defend it until the Druids of the Talon can carry it to safety.

Rewards

Money Rewards: 7 Gold and 80 Silver

Reputation Rewards: 250 reputation with the Cataclysm faction Guardians of Hyjal.

Item Rewards: Choice of Lightheart Sandals, Tunic of Soaring Safety, Cloakbreaker Helm or Egg-Lift Talisman.

Xp: You will be awarded with 27,700 experience upon completing this quest.

Walkthrough

Egg Hunt requires you travel south to Sethria's Roost and locate the interactable objects known as Shadow Cloak Generators. These items look like a pedestal with a purple cloud floating just above, and a spiked ring that hovers and rotates around this cloud. Kill nearby enemy NPCs and run up to these objects and activate them until you see the egg that you were informed about. It will be rather hard to miss. Make sure you stand near the egg while killing any of the enemy NPCs nearby that try to attack you or it. There are no triggered spawns from this event. Eventually the Druids will come flying to pick the egg up and take it away. As long as you are nearby the egg when this happens, even if you did not trigger the event or find the egg yourself, the objective will be marked complete.

Completion Message

"We did it, *Your Name*! Aviana's Egg should soon be tucked safely in the boughs of her shrine. Do you think this means she'll really return to us?"
