World of Warcraft Cataclysm comes with Worgens, Goblins and the already released and much talked about Cataclysm. Deathwing has risen and Azeroth has changed. Character changes are already being griped about as established tricks and trades change and continue to be tweaked. For the gung ho, truly dedicated Cataclysm release fan, there's still hope. Gamestop, Best Buy and Walmart are all throwing open their doors at midnight on December 6^th for the Cataclysm release. Not every location participates, so call ahead. At those stores participating in the event, games will be available, but likely not much more. In some more populous locations, it may be safe to expect Cataclysm release costuming from customers. Worgens offer a special opportunity for Furries.

A few stores holding Cataclysm release midnight events do have the Collector's Edition. They won't allow preorders. The Collector's Editions are available on a first come, first serve basis. It's best not to assume these are available at every release event. Call ahead - it may save some grief.

For those gamers near Fountain Valley , California , Frye's Electronics has the best Cataclysm release event available. There WoW gamers can enjoy the artists formerly known as Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftains, a dance contest and WoW developer meet and greet.
