World of Warcraft: Cataclysm - Warrior Protection Talents - Tier 3

This article will serve as a guide to the third tier of Protection Talents for the Warrior class in World of Warcraft Cataclysm, reflecting the new talent tree changes made with the release of the World of Warcraft expansion. These third tier of talents are; Last Stand, Concussion Blow, Bastion of Protection and Warbringer. The third tier of Protection Talents for the Warrior in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm are considered those that require ten talent points spent on the Protection tree before being unlocked.

You must spend 15 total skill points in the Protection Talent Tree to unlock the next tier of talents, which can include Last Stand, Concussion Blow, Bastion of Protection and Warbringer. In addition, some talents require a specific talent be maxed out before unlocking itself, these requirements if present will be included below.

World of Warcraft Cataclysm Warrior Protection Talent: Last Stand
Last Stand has 1 rank, does not unlock any other talent.
Last Stand Rank 1: Unlocks the Last Stand ability which has an instant cast, no cost and 3 minute cool down. Last Stand when used grants you 30% of your character's maximum health for 20 seconds. After the 20 seconds the health is lost.

World of Warcraft Cataclysm Warrior Protection Talent: Concussion Blow
Concussion Blow has 1 rank, unlocks Vigilance (tier 5) at rank 1.
Concussion Blow Rank 1: Unlocks the Concussion Blow ability which is instant cast, costs 15 rage, is melee ranged, requires a melee weapon and has a 30 second cool down. When used, Concussion Blow stuns your target for 5 seconds and deals (75/100 x Attack Power) damage

World of Warcraft Cataclysm Warrior Protection Talent: Bastion of Defense
Bastion of Defense has 2 ranks, does not unlock any other talent.
Bastion of Defense Rank 1: Reduces the chance an enemy will critically hit you with a melee attack by 3% while Defensive Stance is active. When you block, dodge or parry an attack you have a 10% to receive the Enraged effect for 12 seconds. While Enraged you get a 5% bonus to your physical damage attacks.
Bastion of Defense Rank 2: Reduces the chance an enemy will critically hit you with a melee attack by 6% while Defensive Stance is active. When you block, dodge or parry an attack you have a 20% to receive the Enraged effect for 12 seconds. While Enraged you get a 10% bonus to your physical damage attacks.

World of Warcraft Cataclysm Warrior Protection Talent: Warbringer
Warbringer has 1 rank, does not unlock any other talent.
Warbringer Rank 1: Allows you to use Charge, Intercept and Intervene while already in combat and no matter what stance you are currently in. Intervene now also removes all movement impairing effects.
