World of Warcraft "Cursed Talismans" Quest Guide

"Cursed Talismans"

Corporal Ironridge is at Expedition Point, which is found on the East side of Hellfire Peninsula, almost directly below The Legion Front on your map. You'll find him and his team near a falle n Fel Reaver. The camp is easy to miss, so look carefully.

You'll find the Bleeding Hollow Orcs at the nearby Zeth'Gor fortress. All of the Orcs in and around the fortress have a chance to drop the talismans and, like most World of Warcraft collecting quests, you'll just need to keep killing them until you get enough.

Zeth'Gor

Some of the easiest targets for this mission are the Bleeding Hollow Peons and Bleeding Hollow Grunts that wander around outside the fortress. They're lower level than the Orcs inside the fortress proper, and a bit easier to pull without worrying so much about adds. Some have speculated that the peons have a much higher drop rate for the talismans, as well.

While you're killing outside, though, keep an eye out for Helboars and Crust Bursters that may come up behind you. Don't sit down to eat or drink until you've cleared the surrounding area.

Of special concern out here are the Bleeding Hollow Tormentors. Like the mounted Orcs near Honor Hold, they will dismount when they attack, forcing you to take on both them and their mount at the same time. They also patrol around the outside of the base, so keep an eye out.

Be Efficient

If you're working on the "Zeth'Gor Must Burn" quest, "Cursed Talismans" is a good one to do simultaneously. You can work your way around the four towers near the outside of the fortress and pick up talismans as you clear out the nearby orcs.

Chances are, though, with the low drop rate, that you'll have to keep killing orcs for a bit longer to complete "Cursed Talismans" after you've finished "Zeth'Gor Must Burn."

Once you've picked up the requisite 12 talismans, you'll need to head back out to Expedition Point and Corporal Ironridge for your reward. You'll receive about 9k experience, almost a gold, and some Honor Hold reputation for your trouble.

You'll also be introduced to the next quest in the chain, "Warlord of the Bleeding Hollow." Now that you're familiar with the fortress and it's inhabitants, it's time to put your knowledge to the test and take out their leader. No big deal, right?
