Here Are a Few Advantages You Can Pick Up Along Your Journey in World of Warcraft!

New players to World of Warcraft (often called noobs by ignorant players) commonly don't understand all of the aspects of the game right away...but who does when they first start? Nobody does. World of Warcraft is a complex game! In today's article I'm going to lay out a few tips that should make it easier for you to jump right into World of Warcraft and start having some fun. When I first started, I wish I had some of these tips to make my life a bit easier. Here we go!

One of the most important things you can do when you're first getting started in World of Warcraft is to ask for help. I've covered this in a previous article but I felt it would be important to at least mention again. If you're ever feeling confused about something, just ask the players around you. That being said, there are also a lot of buffs (temporary character improvements) in World of Warcraft that you can get from other players. Warcraft Classes that cast magic are the only ones that can do this for you, so don't bother asking the others. Asking for buffs from other players doesn't cost anything from you or from them, and they'll more than likely oblige your request. There are various spells within the game that will increase your stats in World of Warcraft and make you harder to kill, or make you kill more quickly. This is essential for new players that might not have the combat system down pat yet. Getting these buffs will help you along your journey and increase your margin for error.

Staying in a group is key when you're facing a difficult quest in WoW. You'll always want to check the difficulty level of a quest before embarking on it by yourself. thankfully for us, World of Warcraft uses a color coding system to determine the difficulty of certain encounters or quests. In World of Warcraft, Green means that it's going to be pretty easy for you, but the danger of death is still there. With a green encounter though, if you play your cards right and don't make too many mistakes you'll end up completing the quest. White means the quest is right on par with you. You're going to be pretty evenly matched in this encounter and you don't want to make any mistakes. Yellow means that you probably shouldn't go after this encounter unless your character has the best equipment and you're a very experienced player. Stay away from red encounters at all costs. This means that the quest or mob that you're going to be fighting is a much higher level than you and they'll most likely kill you. World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment have put this color coding system in for a reason!

Jumping into the heat of a battle while playing World of Warcraft with another player is often shaky ground. If you see somebody in trouble, make certain that they're definitely in trouble before you jump in to save them. Often new players to WoW don't realize that by helping other players you lessen their experience gains from that encounter. Sure, if you're preventing them from dying their going to appreciative, but if they were in no real danger, you just robbed them of some of the gains from that encounter. People play World of Warcraft to level up. Most players won't say anything the first time, but if you make it a habit they'll get angry with you. It's best to keep in mind that even though you're trying to help, sometimes players are just fine where they are. Before jumping into any battle to save somebody, remember to check their health bar and make certain that they really do need the help!
