World of Warcraft: Leveling Up a Druid

Druids Can Be Confusing at Times. I'm Here to Make that All Better!

When starting a Druid in World of Warcraft, it can sometimes be confusing. Within the first 10 levels you have all kinds of different spells and abilities, and it gets chaotic trying to keep them all balanced. I'm here to put those abilities in check and help you level up your druid during your stay within World of Warcraft (WoW). We'll take a look at the fastest way to level the Druid and the build to go along with it.

During the early levels, you're basically going to be spamming Wrath to kill things. Go along as you normally do with any early character and just kill things and do quests up until you're level 10. At level 10 things get a little bit trickier because you get Bear Form. Bear Form can be your best friend or worst enemy depending on how you use it. You've come to a crossroads, you can either fight your battles as a caster as you've been doing for the past 10 levels, or you can embrace your new ability and use Bear Form. Let's go with the latter, for only one reason. When you're shapeshifted, you're not using mana. It's that simple. Bear Form allows you to use rage to kill your opponenets and gain experience, and when you need to heal, you just pop right out of bear form and healing yourself to full, then shape shift right back and go again. There is literally no downtime. No sitting and drinking. No making bandages, and no waste of time. Continue using bear form all the way up until you get to level 20 and are able to train Cat Form.

Cat Form is a different than Bear Form because it does much more damage and it allows you to become a killing machine! Cat Form, if you'll notice, you're using energy instead of rage and you perform much more like a rogue. Since you've got enough talent points for them to actually mean something now, you're going to want to spec or build your Druid with the Feral Tree. This adds great strength to your Bear and Cat form abilities. Just like in bear form, pull your enemies and defeat them with your energy, then pop out of Cat form and heal up after you're done crushing an opponent.

General tips that you can use with your Druid or any other class are also helpful. When leveling, don't go running to sell every time your bags get full. Try to time them along with the runs that you have to make every 2 levels to buy your new abilities. This literally cuts your trips to the cities in half, thus making you a lot faster at leveling. Don't buy anything that isn't going to be essential to your leveling up. It's just going to take extra time and it distracts you from your goal.

Repeat the process of killing your opponents, questing and healing until you're all the way at the top! By doing this you don't have to drink and don't have to waste time waiting for your health or mana to regenerate! Have fun playing you Druid in World of Warcraft!
