World of Warcraft: Shaman Raiding Gear!

Gearing Up Your Character Can Be Hard I'm Here to Help!

Adapting to the new environments and new content in World of Warcraft can be exciting, but it can also be difficult. As far as knowing which bosses drop what, finding people that are able to carry their own weight in raiding then getting it to drop! I'm here to make it a little easier on you when you're out there trying to gear up your Shaman in WoW. Let's get down to business and get your Shaman equipped with Tier 7 and Tier 8 for PvE and PvP encounters!

I'll go through the gear that you can get to make your Shaman amazing, where to get it and who to get it from.
Our first drop comes out of Ulduar. That's right, we're looking at a shield right now. The Pulsing Spellshield which is very very good, even if the spellpower boost is a bit inadequate. The bonus to armor makes up for a lot of that, making this shield an item that's not really just for one purpose. This is refreshing to me, as I look through World of Warcraft i see more and more pieces of gear that are solely for one purpose. With the Pulsing Spellshield, you can now have your cake and eat it too, not having to sacrifice one stat boost for another.

Ulduar also holds another shield that Resto shaman are sure to be interested in. Our next contender is the Ice Layered barrier. The mana regen of this shield is quite nice, allowing you to have a bit more longevity in the field. Those of you out there with the voice of reason needn't worry about getting this shield because the voice is just as good right now, but if you don't, this is a little bit easier to get.

As far as shields go, those are the two that I'm most interested in, because the Pulsing Spellshield allows for a lot of versatility, and the Layered Barrier is nice for resto. No matter which way you want to take your shaman in WoW, you'll be covered with one of these two shields.

The Loop of the Agile is a great ring to have right now, in theory. I haven't gotten on yet. That reasoning for this is not because this ring is the ring to end all rings (or...the one ring to rule them all), but that this ring has a gem socket. Socketed items are overlooked a lot because people for some reason are in favor of raw stats. Match this up to any other "equivalent" ring, and it's going to look pretty much the same, but when you slap a gem in there, you're going to get something tailored to your specific needs. This again, is what I call efficiency. This ring is great solely because it has great stats AND can be customized to your needs.

These three items are key in gearing up your shaman. They're the pinnacle of customization, and all of them come with great stats. If you have any opportunity to do so, I would strongly urge you to head into Ulduar and pick these up. You'll be the envy of your friends, and you'll have great stat increases to boot!
