The world loves big food. In fact, the contest for the worlds biggest food is an ongoing endeavor with chefs, restaurants and everyday people attempting to one up each other in an effort to get a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records. So what are the worlds biggest foods for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert? And who made them?

Lets start with a breakfast that champions would be proud, an omelette that weighed in at a whopping 6,510 pounds! The Lung Association out of Brockville, Canada entered into the World Record Books with this egg-cellent concoction on May 11th, 2002 and still hold the spot for World's Largest Omelette. The previous omelette that held the world record came from Yokohoma, Japan and used 160,000 eggs.

What about lunch? Sandwiches are a common lunch food all over the world. Would you like to sink your teeth into the world's biggest sandwich which weighed in at 5,540 pounds? This sandwich was made by Wild Woody's Chill and Grill out of Roseville, Michigan on March 17th, 2005 and still holds the record for the worlds biggest sandwich.

How about a hamburger for dinner? You can still get the worlds biggest hamburger today at Mallie's Sports Bar & Grill in Southgate, Michigan if you are willing to pay the $399 price tag on it. This burger weighs in at an astounding 185.6 pounds. This burger made it into the Guinness World Records on May 30th, 2009. Mallie's actually held the previous world record with a burger that weighed in at 164.8 pounds. So if you are hunger, head over to Mallie's and ask for the Absolutely Ridiculous Burger that comes with cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, bacon, onions and tomatoes. View the winning burger here.

Lets not forget about dessert! After the worlds largest omelette, sandwich and hamburger what dessert could possibly match up with its enormity? How about tiramisu? Italian cake at its finest. The worlds largest tiramisu was made by the Italian Association in Porrentruy, Switzerland. This delectable dessert weighed in at a grand 2,310 tonnes. It took 155 bakers and 14 hours of work to create the masterpiece that stood at 8 centimeters in height and covered 50 metres in length. Artist Franck Bouroullec gave the tiramisu its final touches, a portrait of Barack Obama made with chocolate powder.
