These cities have found alternative ways deal with fuels and its by-products.The benefit of using alternative fuels are very definite in the results of these cities. There are improvements to be made in clearing the air, producing clean fuels and cutting down on bad emission. In order for more cities to make it on the cleanest cities in the world list their aim must be to reduce pollution, traffic congestion, recycle more and make use for under used and derelict sites. Everyone that lives in, work in, visits, or invest in a city should benefit from having a better environment. We know that from past research using fossil fuels to generate energy releases carbon dioxide and other gases into the atmosphere.
This causes a bad effect and contributes to climate change in the environment. Fossil fuel derives from using coal, gas and oil as fuel to convert to energy. Yes, it is more economical to use but, it is destroying the only home we know.To be included on the world's cleanest cities list most of these bad habits must be changed.
Doing Your Part
There are simple ways to cut down on the amount of energy being used in the home. Switching off of lights, using efficient bulbs can all make a difference or going a little step further and buying a hybrid car will help. Many homes are either being built or renovated as green homes should include energy efficient windows and appliances among other things.
Everyone can do their part in getting their cities' listed on the world's cleanest city list . The participation need are
don't litter and ask others not to, participate in recycling programs, conduct and participate in community clean up and help keep sidewalk curb and alley clean. With the younger generation coming up it is imperative that we instill in them the need to respect the environment. Children should be taught to keep the air spaces around them clean.
Helping to maintain a healthy environment will benefit the future generation.
