Worshiping the Demonic Divine
Demonolaters, the term for people who worships demons, often scoff at the mainstream Hollywood stereotype of demon worshippers. "It's laughable that people actually think we run around worshiping the Christian version of Demons. Beasts with glowing eyes, red skin and pitchforks only exist in fairy tales and on ham containers. Demon derives from a word meaning 'divine intelligence' and most people don't realize that the gods of all religions previous to Christianity were demonized by the church," said one Demonolator, who only referred to himself as Dagon.
According to the foremost Demonolatry site on the web ran by a group of people in Colorado who call themselves and their temple Ordo Flammeus Serpens (OFS), demon worship is the worship of divine intelligences replete with wisdom.
"The idea that a demon is an evil spirit out to hurt humans and the Christian God is antiquated at best," said Ms. S. Connolly, the Reverend Priestess of OFS and author of the book The Complete Book of Demonolatry. "A demon is a higher being that, if worked with respectfully and held in high regard, will impart wisdom to the person seeking it."
According to Connolly, however, there are many types of Demonolaters, and their beliefs cover a wide spectrum. Some Demonolaters are Theistic Satanists, those whose pantheon of deities is headed by a literal deity they call Satan. In this group alone there are a good number of varying perceptions. Some believe the Christian God is real and Satan is the true ruler of this physical realm, while others embrace Satan as a deity who encompasses the idea of enlightenment and free thought and reject the Christian theology altogether. Others still, see Satan as the name for the deity that is the whole of all that exists in our universe. Likewise, there are Demonolaters whose pantheons of deities only include female deities, or who are headed by a deity called Lucifer, the light bringer (i.e. enlightenment, wisdom) from pre-Christian traditions.
Regardless the belief, the Demonolaters admit that they do practice blood sacrifice in the form of pricking their own fingers to use a drop or two of their own blood during ritual. "Giving up a few drops of your own blood as an offering to deity is the highest form of sacrifice," Connolly explained. "Sacrifice means 'to make sacred', so when you sacrifice a small part of yourself, you are making it sacred."
When asked about animal and human sacrifice, orgies, and demonic possession, Connolly laughed. "All of those things you just mentioned are myths and Hollywood stereotypes based in fantasy. If that's what Demonolatry was about, I wouldn't be a Demonolatress. If you ever met a Demonolater on the street, you wouldn't know it. We're just like everyone else. We just happen to worship a pantheon of darker gods we call demons."

Post a CommentDemons before christian times were acctualy invisible serpents that each person is born with (Kind of like a guardian angel) they would record all of your actions and upon death would recite them to a judge who would place you in an afterlife equal to your deeds.
i agree with this statement totally right
Everyone must choose, we were created to communicate with the supernateral... thats why we have a spirit. But don't be decieved, God (of the bible) is not the God of this world, don't blame God for the bad weather etc.... Satan is the God of this world, but only for a time, the war ha been won already, you fight in vain about this. As far as will God win or will Satan, well, that was won at the cross...... but we choose, so please choose wisely. :)

To you who have received the kingdom of satan, I say this: Behold, the time cometh when you shall truly taste the awful sting of your choices. God is coming to you now, in this message, and asking you to seek his face through the death, buril, and resurreection of our Lord Jesus Christ. satan cannot do anything if God does not permit him (Book of JOB). satan will promise you material possessions, immediate satisfaction, money, but these things are temporal. Can he forgive your sins? Can he grant you eternal life? Please, Im asking you to consider your choice. God won't force you to love him, but he loves you so much that his son, Jesus Christ, gave his life for us. I urge you, I have seen many dreams and visions, satan does not; will not ; and cannot win....God was, is, and will be the Great I AM!
God is a King! He is the creator of Heaven and Earth. He is not sitting on his throne waiting to kill you when you sin. Instead, his son, Jesus Christ is praying that you, the one who is reading this, will repent and come unto the light. Satan is a fallen angel; God is an awesome spirit who has no equal or opposing forces. You have been given the choice to choose...and so, I urge you, seek his forgiveness, satan cannot give you eternal life, only the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

i believe in freedome of religeon as long as it harms no outher people, i have never thought of the word demon used in such a different manner, but where there lies evil lies desruction and mayhem one must tread carefully.....
