Worst Dancing with the Stars Cast Ever?

On Monday night when the season 11 "Dancing with the Stars" cast was revealed, chat rooms lit up with responses such as "worst cast ever" and "where's the actual stars?" This is a sentiment shared by most fans of this hit ABC show. With suedo-stars headlining like The Situation from "Jersey Shore," or Bristol Palin, who's a star for....being a teenage mother (Don't lie, you don't know either)? I though last season's addition of Kate Gosselin was bad, but I agree with everyone else: this cast is ridiculous.

There are only two "stars" that I am excited about watching, and that's Kurt Warner and Jennifer Grey. I think Jennifer should have been on it a long time ago, and I just find Kurt Warner a very sexy older gentleman. With this cast, even Joan Rivers, who recently hurled f-bombs in the direction of producers for not putting her on the show, would be better than Audrina Patridge or Bristol Palin. The rest of the cast includes David Hasselhoff, Margaret Cho, Florence Henderson, Rick Fox, Michael Bolton, Brandy, and Kyle Massey.

Also apparent is that there is no real front runner. Every season, you can pretty much spot the dance experience in the room and say "well they have an advantage," but this season, there is no clear front runner. I would say that the most experience would be either Brandy or Jennifer Grey from "Dirty Dancing," but that movie was a long time ago. Rick Fox and Kurt Warner are both athletes, so they should be able to handle the physical demands better than the rest, but there is really nobody exciting or worth watching yet.

It might help when we know who they are partnered up with, because after 11 seasons, the professional dancers are sometimes more popular than the stars, such as the Hough siblings or Maksim Chmerkovskiy. I would like to see Kurt Warner paired up with Julianne Hough, but I think he will probably be with Cheryl Burke, since she is always stuck with the football players. I think that Maks will probably be with Brandy or Audrina, and Jennifer and Tony Dovoloni would be a perfect match.

Maybe my opinion and everyone else's will change once we know their partners, but right now, I would call this cast the worst one in 11 seasons. Watch it all unfold on September 20 on ABC.
