Worst Failure Ever

Worst failure ever are hardly the words I would choose currently to describe the existing administration in Washington. I can't imagine who, after such a short period of time would make such a damning condemnation of the current president and his crew. However, worst failure ever is exactly what some republican activists are trying to have you believe is the state of affairs for President Obama and his people.

Apparently, some republican activists with far too much spare time on their hands have convinced Google, that by typing in the words "worst failure ever" into its search engine, that the president's web site should be the first thing that pops up. This is the type of thing that I find incredibly amusing.

To attempt to define the current administration as the worst failure ever is hilarious for so many reasons. Firstly, they have barely been in office long enough for anyone to know what they have or have not done. It must be incredibly psychic on the part of those who would have us believe it.

More to the point, I would think it would take an astronomical amount of gall to declare the current administration the worst failure ever. This president was handed a nation in absolute turmoil. This president was handed an absolute disaster zone. This president had to take over after a previous administration that was quite obviously a top contender for the title "worst failure ever."

I haven't quite been alive or followed the history enough to say that without a doubt, the most recent Bush administration was the worst failure ever. However, I would definitely say it had to be pretty close. The former president left the country's state of foreign affairs in absolute turmoil. It is difficult to say at the current moment exactly how many wars the U.S. is waging.

The state of the economy is no mystery to any able minded individual currently just trying to get by. Describing the current situation as a financial crisis is an understatement. This in large part due to the policies implemented by the Bush administration. If anything, these facts alone should place the Bush administration as a high ranking contender as the worst failure ever.

To say that any current administration is the worst failure ever would be unfair. Worst failure ever?! There have to be others that come to mind. As far as worst failure ever I would throw the Titanic in the mix along with a few first round draft picks that will remain nameless. When discussing presidential administrations it would be difficult to overlook Harding's in that category. To say the current administration is generally the worst failure ever is just a tad far fetched.

In fact, I would go so far to say that any attempt to paint the current administration as the worst failure ever would best be described as perhaps... the worst failure ever.

This made me smile, especially since the current administration has acted with stupidity, Akorn, failure to move forward on dont ask dont tell, spending money to "save" the economy, cutting benefits for veterans and retired people across the nation with new and improved taxes.

Give it time. The obamination still has 3 and a half years left to set the standard for failure

So, is it more or less absurd than when Democratic activists did the same to Bush?

Claiming the current administration is "the worst failure" is absurd. The president can't influence that much. It was the last administration!

I love it. Finger pointing isn't solved by more finger pointing.

Fairness presumably was not high on the priority lists of those who did this.
